A McCrary kind of Christmas
Leave room for somebody else.
Food. Fellowship. Family. Music. At the McCrary house, they have always belonged together.
A family
tradition.
A purpose.
The annual A McCrary Kind of Christmas benefit brings family, friends, musicians, and community together around music — and uses it to give something back.
For more than a decade, the celebration has supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as well as families in need.
“It’s an honor to be able to help who we can.”— Alfreda McCrary
Come together. Share what you have. Leave room for somebody else.

New songs.
The same
giving heart.
A new Christmas EP is planned, bringing special guest artists into the studio with the McCrary Sisters. Proceeds are intended to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Friends join the family. New voices join the songs. Something that began at home travels a little farther.
The Sisters’ Christmas recordings already include A Very McCrary Christmas, released in 2019. This new project opens another chapter.
Guest artists, artwork, songs, and release details will be shared as they are announced.

And then
there’s the porch.
No venue. No tickets. No announcement.
Just the porch, their voices, and the neighborhood that has always known them.
People stand in the yard. They listen. They sing along. Inside, there’s food on the table and family filling the house. Outside, there’s music.
They sing because it’s Christmas.
The last chapter is the first.
It all comes
back home.
The basement. The table. The porch.
The family. The sound that keeps traveling.
