The family

Four individual voices. One family harmony.

Ann. Alfreda. Deborah. Regina. Before the records and the stages, there were four daughters listening to the music downstairs.

Ann
McCrary

A lifetime inside the harmony.

At three years old, Ann stepped onto a Fairfield Four stage. Music was already part of the family conversation. Her voice carries that early inheritance forward: a way of listening, of holding a harmony, of making room for the voices beside her.

Alfreda
McCrary

A voice with an open door.

For Alfreda, the music and the giving belong together. The spirit of a house that welcomed people in lives on in the Sisters’ performances and their Christmas benefit. Family, fellowship, and song are part of the same tradition.

In loving memory · 1954–2022

The depth that stays with us.

Deborah gave the family harmony its deep foundation. Her low register held the sound together, and her presence is woven into the Sisters’ recordings and memories. Deborah died in 2022. Her voice remains part of the family sound.

Buddy Miller remembered the depth she brought to the low end — and her “overcoming spirit” onstage.

Regina
McCrary

A sound that keeps traveling.

Regina entered a recording studio at six. From the family home to stages and studios far beyond Nashville, she carried that sound with her. Through every new musical conversation, the starting point remained the same: home, faith, and her sisters.
