A documentary · Voices Don’t Fade

Every harmony has an origin.

This one begins at home. In a basement filled with music. Around a kitchen table filled with family. With four daughters listening.

The story

What one generation
leaves inside the next.

Voices Don’t Fade traces an American musical lineage through one Nashville family — from Rev. Samuel McCrary and the Fairfield Four to his daughters, the McCrary Sisters, and through generations of American music.

Across nearly a century, their story moves through gospel, blues, soul, rock, country, roots, and Americana. Family archives, performances, and memories carry us from the house into the world — and home again.

A voice. A tradition. A family.
A sound that keeps traveling.

The last chapter is the first.

It all comes
back home.

The basement. The table. The porch.
The family. The sound that keeps traveling.
